Very disappointed in their underhandedness…
I have a life assurance policy with L+G I suffered a stroke affecting my employment i kindly asked them if they could lowe mt premiums make it more affordable for me, I thught this was a reasonable thing to ask given my circumstances had changed., I had the policy for several years instead L+G saw this oportunity to lower my insured amount significantly lowering the protection i had for mty family I thought this was a lowthing to do to me has really tested my trust to this comany. given they were looking after a such an important aspect of my l family's future in the event of my death.

I dont even want to put 1 star this company have just conned our family out of my brothers life policy by telling me that apparently he had copd which none of us including him knew then to say if he had of told them they wouldn't have insured him anyway this is another lie as we now have proof if he had of knew he had it and told them he would have had to pay an extra £10 a month which would not have been a problem he died of Prostate Cancer not copd but they decided they were not paying out so of im going to omnibus man and solicitors this company is very good at lying to con u out of your money they kept his interest he would have gained on his payments to them convient that so avoid this company I have all the proof and also proof of not handling my complaint up to standard and I gave all this in writing so I will knave this with u all to make your own minds up if u want to lose everything go with them if not avoid like the plague

I have proof that wee were conned and lied too by there underwriting team and their so called accessors I've just applied for a policy with the same details my late uncle did and the offered the same cover he got but apparently he had been diagnosed with so called copd so they didn't pay out I did a policy for someone of his similar age when he signed up but stating copd and the sad fact is this non existing person was offered similar cover to his! We were told no and they arent paying out on my uncles death policy so I have took notes for are legal team and showing them this as proof we've been lied too for 16 weeks since my uncles death due to cancer! I would avoid and not use this company if I was you as the con and rip off family's when their loved ones pass away!

If you want good customer service, don’t!
Just trying to get this company to remove my details from their records was virtually impossible. Passed from pillar to post and then cut off. No response to emails, terrible on phone - left on hold for 40 mins (for someone to get advice) before music drives you crazy and give up!
DREADFUL, if not impossible, customer service!
Maybe better with the prospect of money coming in?

House Survey - UK
Booked a house survey through Legal and General for my first property. They could not fit me in for a month, which although not great, I decided to stick with them as they are a well know name. I was told that I would get a phone call the day before my survey. My survey was planned for a Monday so I assumed I would get a call Friday, I got nothing. I waited until Monday late am and dropped them an e-mail to be told that due to a "technical error" the survey could not happen. I had to chase them, I now do not know when the survey will take place and this is holding up the sale of the house, which is time sensitive.
Unless they can pull something miraculous out of the bag I will never use them again and warn others not to as well.
Long lead times, no customer service, very, very poor.

L and G = Long Gone
Total lack of customer service. Website is completely useless but worse still complete impossibility to contact a human being by telephone. After pressing their numbers to take you to the required service ( i.e. “ to contact ……) they then cut you off!! Website is no better - “this cannot be done online please call….). PLUS they ask all sorts of @security” questions which they already know before telling you this. 10 days strife just to change my bank details are L&G really in the 21st century?

Have been advised that legal general are refusing to pay out on this policy so I will taking this further to the newspapers and news outlets whoever wants to take up my story! All the lies the deceit are disgraceful and disgusting so watch out for the news reading and seeing this company a sham AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I have been for some time been trying…
I have been for some time been trying to withdrawer my pension savings. At first things started well. All the information required was sent and the process appeared to be progressing smoothly. All went quiet so I called the dedicated Kingfisher team who said that information requested from Kingfisher was slow to arrive but confirmed it was now going forward. After sometime I had heard nothing so made a follow up call and was told that for some reason the request to withdrawer funds had not been actioned. After being assured that it would be actioned and I should have funds transferred 10 to 15 days later. The 15 days have now elapsed so I contacted the team again. Only to be told that the request has still not been authorised. I had made arrangements to use these funds and am now in a very difficult situation. An apology was given but does not make good the total lack of customer service they trade by.

Terrible horrible avoid like the plague do not do any business with this chronologically challenged crew they take weeks to do nothing literally the best way to get a headache and anxiety I can think of I can not rate them low enough unproductive unprofessional unhelpful unbelievable unbearable

Absolutely abysmal telephone experience. Suspect pandemic has been an excuse to decimate their customer service staff.
Absolutely abysmal experience trying to speak to somebody who knows what they are doing.I hope I never have to phone them again.
